Strictly Catching will teach your catcher the necessary skills to excel!
Designed by catchers for catchers. 2SP’s Strictly Catching is a four day skills camp for baseball and softball catchers ages 8-18 (must still be enrolled in school).
CAMP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Catchers are divided into age appropriate groups where 2SP’s experienced coaches will break down and instruct the techniques of:
- Footwork
- Blocking
- Arm Care
- Receiving
- Bunt coverage
- Plays at the plate
- Game calling
- Pop-times
Our 2024 coaching staff will include*:
- Joe Neal, Former Professional Independent League Baseball Catcher
- Jerry Brown, Assistant Baseball Coach at Henry Ford College
- Gina Munson, former MAC Champion at Central Michigan Softball
- Dennis Olszewski, Former Baseball Player at Wayne State
- Jeremy Carroll, former BP Catcher for Detroit Tigers
- Tim McEvoy, Former Catcher at Concordia University
- Matt Williams, Director of Player Development for Wayne State
