Prime Time Velocity Strength & Speed Program

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This program will run concurrently with Prime Time Velocity’s Throwing program and will be held at 2SP Bloomfield’s new location inside of the Red Sox Training Facility.

2SP will design programs that run in accordance with the throwing program and assign them to each athlete based on age, past injuries, and throwing arm mobility.

Workouts are 60 minutes in length and will be distributed through our Bridge Tracker phone App.

Training will assess:

  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Athleticism and proper body mechanics and injury prevention

The program will progress from month-to-month up until the start of the season. It is recommended that all athletes stay in the program once they’ve started to achieve the full training effect.

TIME SLOTS

Monday, Wednesday & Friday are ideal but athletes will have the ability to make up workouts on Tuesday or Thursday if gym space is available.

While we are willing to accommodate schedule changes, it is preferred that you maintain your same time slot for every day you train to make sure we maintain our CDC guidelines in response to COVID-19. If you need to move your training session to a different time/day you must contact the program administrator first to make sure there is availability.
